We had a great experience with Ash. He was very professional, thorough, and knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly during the inspection. He pointed out important issues, gave us practical advice, and answered all of our questions. We really appreciated how detailed and helpful he was and would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a home inspector on the Big Island.

Highly recommend for any Hawai'i home buyer! We hired Ash for our J1 inspection period, and he did a fantastic job. He was incredibly punctual and took the time to do a thorough walk-through of the entire property. Ash inspected every critical area of the home, including the roof, foundation, and major appliances, ensuring nothing was overlooked. What we appreciated most was how clear he was when explaining his findings. He walked us through his observations on-site, making it easy to understand the physical condition of the property. Following the inspection, he quickly sent a comprehensive PDF report packed with all the detailed information and clear photos of the property and appliances. On top of the great report, Ash was nice enough to send us a detailed list of recommended local vendors in case we needed any repairs done. If you need a reliable, professional inspector who goes above and beyond to give you complete peace of mind during your J1 period, look no further than Ash! We will definitely be recommending Ash to everyone we know.

Thanks again Ash!

Ash is so thorough. He made me feel comfortable and was open to listen to any questions I had and provided detailed and understandable answers. He was interactive and very informative. He walked me through the house inspection from the top roof to the bottom foundation even using a drone to check. He climbed in the attic, and paid special attention to the septic system (extra cost). He pointed out safety concerns and provided helpful suggestions. His end report included photos of everything we discussed and gave special attention in coloring to the mild (orange) items that are moderate concerns and (red) severe concerns. He also offers other services (cost base) for water testing (FHA required), and carpentry services. He’s a really down to earth cool guy but very professional! Thanks Ash, you’re da bomb!

Ash is awesome! We had to reschedule our inspection twice because the power at the house Ash was inspecting for us was out due to Hurricane Lala. He was very accommodating and patient through the process. We felt like Ash was on our side and when it came time for the walk through he explained everything thoroughly and left no questions unanswered. He went out of his way to have our report back to us in a timely manner and he even sent us a last minute quote after hours. We would absolutely recommend Ash The Home Inspector to anyone in need of a home inspection. Mahalo Ash!
