He made me feel comfortable and was open to listen to any questions I had and provided detailed and understandable answers.  He was interactive and very informative.  He walked me through the house inspection from the top roof to the bottom foundation even using a drone to check.  He climbed in the attic, and paid special attention to the septic system (extra cost).  He pointed out safety concerns and provided helpful suggestions. His end report included photos of everything we discussed and gave special attention in coloring to the mild (orange) items that are moderate concerns and (red) severe concerns.  He also offers other services (cost base) for water testing (FHA required), and carpentry services.  He’s a really down to earth cool guy but very professional!  Thanks Ash, you’re da bomb!

We had to reschedule our inspection twice because the power at the house Ash was inspecting for us was out due to Hurricane Lala. He was very accommodating and patient through the process. We felt like Ash was on our side and when it came time for the walk through he explained everything thoroughly and left no questions unanswered. He went out of his way to have our report back to us in a timely manner and he even sent us a last minute quote after hours. If Ash makes a suggestion you should listen to him or it could cost you delays later. He is trustworthy, efficient, prompt in communication, prompt in arrival and testing so I highly recommend his service.

Repair Estimation Options After Inspection

Our report allows the inspector, client or agent to pull selected items from the report into a new repair request document and assign credit dollar amounts on our REPAIR REQUEST BUILDER.

Ash The Handyman LLC often provides custom repair estimates to our sister company Ash The Home Inspector as a formal estimate to supplement the Ash The Home Inspector Repair Request Builder. In the event inspected homes need major repairs, Ash The Handyman LLC will perform a site visit and provide a custom repair estimate.

Escrow Billing

If your clients would like to pay for their home inspection at the close of escrow, Ash The Home Inspector will charge escrow for the cost of the inspection, Hawaii General Excise Tax and an $85 escrow billing fee.
